Visited for Oktoberfest, had a blast! AMAZING view in the early evening as the sun sets.
MoreBeautiful warehouses along the ocean front. There’s restaurants on the bottom levels with clothes, bespoke boutiques, and lots of cute souvenirs. I would recommend walking into the balcony and taking in the view (as well as ringing the bell). A beautiful place to spend a few hours and free entry!
MoreA must go. If you find yourself in the Yokohama area is an excellent place to spend your time. Is not expensive, and you get to see the history of noodles. While in the museum, you can make your own ramen and even try noodles from different Asian countries.
MoreFun place to visit, they hold different events here, we went to Oktoberfest. Good opportunities for photography too!
MoreYokohama bay, the Red Brick Warehouse has something for all. In the winter time, they have a great small skating rink with rentals available. Inside they have treats and things to buy as keep sakes. Restaurants, you can spend a few minutes or hours looking , buying, eating. They have something for everyone.
MoreIt’s an amazing place to spend a beautiful holiday afternoon with your friends & family. It’s too breezy since it’s near the port. Weekends are crowded with some events. It’s an open wide area. Different experience for shopping loved the interior. Enjoyed hanging out.
MoreThis reminds me of distillery district in Toronto Canada. Very good window shopping, some unique made in japan items. Good venue to bring a date! By the water was nice, and easy underground parking. Perhaps we were day on a week day, the market was quiet.
MoreCame here when they had the Christmas market. The atmosphere was very festive and there were plenty of eateries around. There was even an outdoor skating rink.
MoreA great experience,I really enjoyed going there you can also see the water side view there, it’s also quotes cold near water
MoreJapan never stops amusing me. It's so amazing to see how Japanese can make wonders out of something from which we can't expect. This is one of those places..Do visit the place for shopping, food and many more.
MoreThis is a nice place to take a stroll and relax. Saw some big eagles around this area too. The seaside view is awesome.
MoreShopping was fun and so many events happen here! Lovely area with many places to eat and buy great things.
MoreIt is always memorable to go outside with friends or family members, so this is always a good place to find something to drink or taste while somebody else in the group can be shopping around. I do really like it :)
MoreA fabulous shopping center with beautiful brick style design. Many stores and cafe and you can find an ice skating ring in winter near this place. A great place for a trip with kids ^_^
MoreNeat place with plenty of events throughout the year. Has a popular ice skating rink for most of the winter. Also hosts Oktoberfest, food festivals and expos for weddings and the marathon. Souvenirs, knickknack stores, restaurants and a bit of history are inside the buildings. Next to the coastguard museum and close to other attractions like Chinatown, Yamashita park and the cup ramen museum
MoreNice place to enjoy shopping and eating "western" food. Price is quite expensive. And the mall is super crowded.
MoreThe place is really nice. They have Red Brick houses wherein you can buy souvenirs. They also have park with beautiful scenery and rides that friends and family would enjoy.
MoreLovely old building with an interesting selection of shops inside. You often find festival happening outside.
MoreBeautiful place to visit on a day off. Lots of things to do and see around here. If you are new to Yokohama, don't miss this one.
MoreToo much hype, just dark and hot inside! I don't fancy eating in a dark and hot place with overpriced foods, mostly sweets. The buffet restaurant looks ok but still you go up there and it's hot and dimly lit. The other shops with essential oils are over priced too. There are good leather shops but then I don't like the smell of leather. We came here for the strawberry festival. But I was disappointed, just scores of stalls with lots of people lining up just to buy strawberry ice cream, or strawberries with cream, all sweet! I am lactose intolerant so not interested. I thought there would be exhibits about the strawberry cultures, etc. So just another marketing ploy.. Strawberries are cheap in Australia but I am sure Japanese strawberries are better. However, as I said, I cannot have cream or ice cream unless I am at home so we had to pass!
MoreGreat quirky shopping mall in historic buildings of Yokohama. Worth a look for interesting fashion accessories and food.
MoreI visited red brick warehouse during the christmas event and I think it was fantastic. The view and the illumination were just really good.
MoreNice place for the Christmas market. Very crowded but not too bad if you're not in a rush. I'm not sure what it's like during the rest of the year.
MoreVery cool shopping center! Lots of different shops with many different items. I got a really neat light up glass jellyfish!
MoreEuropean style buildings and a bit of home feel. Not only nice shops but very good food on offer everywhere, too.
MoreWent for Christmas. It was a madhouse, but in a controlled way. Loads of German food and beer, with yummy cheeses and the random Santa walking around. Very welcoming to residents and tourists alike, as well as adults and children. Inside the warehouse is clean and rotatingly interesting. The history is as beautiful as the views. Go, for sure, preferably around a holiday!
Morenewly renovated but services not up to standard u pay. No extra pillow when u request, only a thin flat one. No carpark provided even this is a resort hotel. Room rate not worth this level of service.
MoreWhen viewed outside, one will never know that there is a bustling life inside these red brick warehouses. These have been part of Yokohama's past, as it helped safe the city's history, but looking into the future, the City of Yokohama has rebuilt the insides of these warehouses as shopping and dining destinations.
MoreIt’s a very good place you can still see them boat and the sky and also have a Lotta Old Generation building and history here. It’s a very good place with the family tour ,Anita season they have a lot of flour beautiful Threes I want to come again wish I can meet you here
MoreGreat place and food festivalwe were visit yokohama and we saw there were a food festival in the red brick warehouse. outsite the building they over many food and drinks and inside the building there were some merchandise and cookies selling. many people were visit and we saw some historical building and bricks. worth it.
MoreA recycled wharf complex that gets it right. Lots of restaurants serving a range of culinary tastes. Popular with the locals and a worthwhile experience.
MoreThis is a warehouse converted into a shopping mall. The interior is quite narrow, but provides a unique feel to each of the shops. Outside there are usually festival shops, such as the Christmas themed ones during the winter. There is a ton of food choices and they provide free self-serve drinking water. A big plus.
MoreIt is not generally a major attraction, unless is special occasion like Christmas, new year etc, they will additionally decorate the in and outside, plus a huge set up outside the open area. Shops n restaurants are higher end with unique n delicate merchandises. Don't forget the nearby Onsanbashi and harbour view, I like them better.
MoreHipster spot that is filled with interesting shops. Great destination to go for drinks, food, or shopping. Many of the workers I interacted with spoke enough English to understand each other, which is good because I don't know Japanese, thank you! Just as impressive as the buildings itself is the view from outside where a lot of people where enjoying the view of the docks or city. Would make a great spot for a date!
MoreVisited the Christmas market here filled with lively Christmas food stalls and seasons gifts. Fantastic Christmas atmosphere capped by the big Christmas tree with the pier in the background. Nice place to spend time shopping for gifts and quick bite and drink.
MoreA great place for unique Japanese goods; you could find some great souvenirs here. Definitely worthwhile visit even just to browse and look around. The open plaza space between the “brick houses” as well as the surrounding vicinity has themed events/temporary structures. A few restaurants inside the buildings as well.
MoreExcellent for Japanese gifts. Lovely quality. 💐
It's is a nice looking building at a prime location. Good for photos and family events or just a relaxing day by the seaside. There's a lot of restaurants around here as well. However if your motive is to find interesting things to buy, this is not the place. Just my two cents.
MorePretty place to visit. There's even a good hall inside of it. It's especially pretty at night
MoreOld fashioned but new. Very impressive warehouse with lot of food options.
This was such a fun place to go. The exterior was beautiful, right on the water. And the inside was littered with fun shops and food. If you are here in the winter there is an ice skating rink right outside. In one of the stores I bought a cute Japanese style coin purse and beautiful hair clips.Good place to buy gifts for loved ones. The prices are fair (for the most part) and the shops I went to they offered the option to wrap.
MoreTop class tourist destination. This place is full of life, enthusiasm, shopping, lighting, beach, programs, cruise ship, museums, foods, fireworks, branded shops and what not?Almost every month there is some festival and if you can visit the festivals that's are a lifetime experience.Do not forget to take images of festivals and people. Usually they use the space between two red brick warehouse as a festival site. Mesmerizing lighting, foods of different cultures are always available at the site.Caution: if you are visiting this place during winter (November to March) don't forget to take extra warm clothings with you. Sometimes the air become freezing cold and become unbearable.
MoreIt has lots of great little shops! And there are many festivals. The gyoza festival is one of my favorite.
MoreYokohama is a wonderland just far enough away from the crowds of Tokyo to be considered quiet yet close enough to be considered part of that megalopolis. Perhaps the most iconic destination of the port city is this Red Brick Warehouse. Where the pragmatism of yesterday meets the trend of modern day. Housed in a quaint old building - as one might suspect from the name - is this quaint shopping centre, complete with food court on the ground floor. Speciality shops selling unique, made in Japan souvenirs and even better the local region, Yokohama souvenir. A keepsake from a unique city. My Darumae has just one eye and I'll fill it in when I get back.
MoreWe went to Yokohama for a daytrip from Tokyo - its just a 1 h train ride or maybe less. The red brick warehouse has many restaurants and stores inviting you to spend some time there. When we were there, there was also a fair about firemen and other emergency response units, so we could also test how it feels to be in a earthquake simulator. So overall it is a good visit for an 1 hour or two...
MoreLovely area to visit all seasons of the year, although especially in the winter with all the festivities! Lots to do and not too far from the stations.
MoreStill in Minato Mirai area, 10 minutes walking from The Cup Noodle Museum, you'll meet The Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. It's a historical building that is used as a complex of shopping mall, banquet hall, and event venue. These 2 buildings used to be the custom buildings for Yokohama port. The shopping mall offers so many cute things such as fashion things, organic products, special gifts from Yokohama, and glass craft. They're also tax free!
MoreOne of my favorite places in Yokohama. Beautiful city. Great spots to eat around here. Explore and be adventures 🤙
MoreFun and walking 🚶 at Red brick years ago,
This is a beautiful place for a day trip. There are plenty of places to sit and relax. The view of the sea is lovely. Check out the Colette Miller wall art here. I highly recommend this amazing place!
